Utilizing the power of plants and caffeine, our goal is to spark creativity, inspire fun, and foster meaningful connections for an inclusive community. We support and collaborate with local and independent creators with our curated retail, all while being mindful of staying green. By starting each day striving to positively impact all our partners and patrons, we ensure that good things come from The Ground.

Founded in 2021, The Ground at the Gotham is a coffee shop that offers beverages and snacks with a focus on creative seasonal and classic treats. Our design creates a warm and whimsical space filled with plants and gifts that are sourced from local creators.

Spring 2024 marked an exciting expansion with the opening of our second location in Rittenhouse. This new space aims to enhance our connection with the community by providing another cozy gathering spot; not only do we serve our neighbors, but we also enrich the local culture through workshops and events that align with our core values and mission. At our new location, whether visitors are seeking a serene spot to unwind, a creative workshop, or gifts to inspire, The Ground hopes to be your new go-to in Rittenhouse.
